I was the keynote speaker for their Top 50 women in business event last Thursday in Santa Barbara. To be honest, I still don't know what a keynote is! But we had an amazing time. I was so encouraged by the women, it was an amazing group to be among. I'd like the formally thank the Pacific Coast Business Times, Linda Le Brock and Sarah Clark for even considering me a business woman. Also thank you to Stephanie Theimer for make up and our gorgeous model, Stephanie. xx

Someone asked me what my sweetest moment in Paris was during Fashion week. I was in the Jardin des Tuileries waiting for my bestie, Jenny Murray, who was at the Valentino tent watching the show nearby. I could hear the music- a poetic mix of euro-tech and classical. I had a little sun on a bench. That was the moment.

The Spring collection replayed a time when our family vacations were surf contest. They all included favorite friends the Sylstra family and Tommy Curren. We are launching in Australia soon and I asked Gretchen (pictured in the yellow top, yes inspired the Gretchen top) for some pictures of us at the OP Pro in Huntington. I'm cracking up at this picture, it makes me so happy. This is the first time I'd ever had sushi, they closed the restaurant for us. That's when I knew something was going on. Pictured: Tom Sylstra, Melinda Sylstra, Brian Montgomery (where are you?), Tommy Curren, Gretchen, Me and some one else I don't know. Does anyone want to hear about what inspired the Fountain Dress?
