A native Californian, Heidi Merrick was raised in Carpinteria, her father is surfboard shaper Al Merrick. Since launching her line of RTW in 2007, the collection is now sold in retail and specialty stores across the US, Canada and Japan. Having clocked studio hours designing for her own home, in 2011 she introduced a Home Collection to the Heidi Merrick label. Heidi makes a practice of manufacturing responsibly and locally, the design studio is in downtown Los Angeles where everything is produced within walking distance of the studio. The collection has been featured in publications like Elle, WWD, Turkish Vogue, Lucky, Foam, InStyle, Domino and C Magazine. Heidi currently resides in Silverlake with her husband Johnny and little girl Hiver.
